Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I don't have land to install the panels?

Virtual batteries offer a flexible and cost-effective way to maximise self-consumption of solar energy and optimise the performance of photovoltaic systems without the need to install physical batteries.

What are virtual batteries?

Virtual batteries are energy storage systems that intelligently manage the energy generated by solar panels without the need for physical batteries. They use algorithms and software to optimise energy flow, diverting surplus energy to priority loads or hot water storage systems. These systems maximise self-consumption of solar energy and optimise the performance of PV systems without requiring physical batteries, making them flexible and cost-effective for residential and commercial users.

Can I install a storage battery?

Yes, the initial price is higher but its installation allows you to use the stored energy at times when there is no solar production, such as in the evening or at night.

What administrative procedures are included?
  • The management of the common municipal permits, such as the minor works licence, responsible declaration, generic request and prior notification.

  • Other documents such as the Technical Design Report, energy calculations, detailed budget, single-line diagrams, application forms, photos and plans of the project.

  • Legalisation and registration of the installation in the regional self-consumption register, which involves submitting the Technical Design Report and the Electrical Installation Certificate.

What happens if I don't use all the energy generated?

Surplus energy is another way to minimise your monthly bill. The surplus solar energy generated is fed back into the grid so that it can continue to be used and is deducted from your bill.

Which installation is the most recommendable?

Each client requires a personalised assessment carried out by our professionals in order to provide the solution best suited to their needs, and in this way offer them satisfactory advice and a suitable installation.

How long does it take to get the installation up and running?

The most time-consuming are the documents required to start the installation and the municipal permit, the installation per se does not take more than two days.
